'Writers possesses the design creativity, flair and team working approach to help make any communication project a success. Our award winning public relations team demand high standards and Writers continually demonstrates its ability to deliver on time to the highest quality. What's more, Writers possesses the flexibility to be able to adapt to late-running changes or new priorities and respond positively to the demands of a major local authority.'
Rod Cook,
Director of Communications,
Derbyshire County Council

'Thank you again for your excellent contribution to this new project. An NHS newspaper to every home in the city was an ambitious idea, but your calm professionalism helped us meet all our targets and the deadline. It has been a pleasure working with you - more like a 'kindred spirit' than an agency.'
Geoff White, Special Projects Manager, Communications,
Customer Services and Patient & Public Involvement,
NHS Leicester City

'Thank you for all the excellent work done over the years. You have made a big contribution to the way in which the university has developed and has been perceived from the outside.'
Professor Roger Waterhouse,
Vice-Chancellor, University of Derby.

'Thanks for your quality input as well as your professional demeanour.'
Ian Amos, Editor,
Media Unit,
Leicester Mercury

Since 1990, Writers has established itself as an authoritative producer of high-profile publications in both the public and private sectors.

Newspapers, newsletters and annual reports have been written, designed and produced for major organisations including Derbyshire County Council, NHS Leicester City, British Rail, Rolls-Royce and Central Television.

In 2005, Writers' contribution to the production of Insight – a bi-monthly newspaper for taxpayers designed on behalf of Derbyshire County Council – helped the publication to achieve 'Best Newsletter' in the Institute of Public Relations (IPR) Pride Awards. The newspaper was also a finalist in the 2004 Communications in Business Awards.

In 2004, Writers' editorial support on Nottinghamshire Today – a monthly lifestyle magazine produced by Northcliffe Newspapers – helped the publication to a place on the shortlist of finalists in the Newspaper Society Regional Magazine of the Year Awards.

In 2001, Writers' contribution to the production of Governor – a quarterly newsletter for school governors designed on behalf of Derbyshire County Council – helped the publication to achieve 'Best Internal Communications' in the Local Government Group of the CIPR Awards.

In both 1996 and 1997, Writers was awarded Excellence in Communications certificates for writing and design contributions to the Derbyshire County Council environment newspaper, Greenwatch. Click the images below to access examples of our quality work.
